About Me

Salutations! I'm Sunshroom, but people call me other names, such as Sun, Sunny, Shroom or Shroomy. Residing in the great land of England.

I used to do pantomimes and studied drama during secondary school and sixth form (college), however I felt that it was much better to pursue a career in IT, so I'm currently doing a undergrad course on Cyber Security. I made this website as kind of a side project to do while going through uni, even though I only really started taking this website seriously halfway through the second term of my uni course lol. It also allows me to showcase my many projects and other cool stuff, all from a small address you type on your browser! How cool is that?

As for what I like to do, I do like tinkering/modding different games. While I would love to upload such mods, these have sadly been lost on an old broken hard drive. I spent some time making and playing Earthbound and Newer Super Mario Bros Wii (A very good New Super Mario Bros Wii rom hack! I made a hack... of a hack!) Mods through 2 seperate summer holidays during my 9th and 10th years of secondary school.

I also love programming games, and while I'd love to show you some of them, these were... mainly for the enjoyment of my friends, being filled with refernces only they would understand and any other person who decides to play the game would be scratching their heads confused as to what a 'Wesley Food Den' is. That's all you need to know. You can do your research if you really want to find out more. This won't reveal some secret hidden demo of one of the mentioned mods, with a link encrypted in Base64 to get to it. Although I wouldn't be surprised if I do something like this later along the line for one of my projects.

Got a couple of projects I'm working on on the left, as you had probably saw. Trying to make a Metroidvania, based on some Touhou fanworks I've seen around, as well as some games I've played (not just Touhou!) I try to put as much effort as I can in everything I produce, and as much as I'd like to possibly even monetise my project I don't think that's a highly achievable position I would be able to complete.
